Common questions

What's a host? What's a station?

The host is the Mac running the DigiBind server — the computer your whole team connects to. A station is any browser on any computer that connects to that host. Stations are always unlimited and never counted against your license.

Why does the license cover 3 hosts?

Machines die mid-show. Three host slots means you can activate on your primary edit computer, a backup, and still have room for an emergency — without having to email us while you're in the middle of a deadline. The 3-host limit is per license, and you can deactivate any computer from the in-app License panel.

What happens if my subscription lapses?

DigiBind becomes the free Viewer — read-only, exports still work. You get a 14-day grace period first, so a missed renewal doesn't lock you out mid-day. Your work is never held hostage: all project files stay on your computer and open normally in Viewer.

What's the Founding tier, and how long will it be available?

Founding pricing is a thank-you for early adopters. The price locks at $99/year for as long as you keep renewing. We haven't set a hard cutoff on seats, but we will close it once we're out of early launch. If you're on the waitlist you'll hear about it first.

Does DigiBind need internet access to work?

No. DigiBind runs entirely on your local network. The only time it contacts our servers is a quiet license check-in — roughly once a week — and even then it continues working normally for up to 30 days without a connection. The free Viewer never contacts any external server.

Is there a refund policy?

If something isn't working as expected, email hello@digibindtech.com within 30 days of purchase and we'll make it right.
